Scott T. Mallory
CEO / Founder

Scott leads the development of Highland's core values and mission as well as being involved in property acquisitions, land planning, and zoning activities. After graduating from West Point, Scott served in the Army as a Field Artillery Officer. Upon completing his obligation Scott returned to the Midwest to pursue his MBA at Indiana University. After receiving his MBA he accepted a position with a local building supply and component manufacturing company. During his tenure as VP of Operations, he was involved in residential construction, light commercial construction, and gained exposure to various development projects. In 2000 he left the company to start Highland Real Estate.

Randal L. Loebig
President

Randy leads the day-to-day operations at HRE including all development projects and contract administration. In addition, Randy is involved in all project feasibility studies and the structuring and securing of project financing. Randy's experience includes fifteen years in investment banking where he worked with a variety of private and government entities providing in excess of a billion dollars in tax-exempt and taxable financing. His client base included local governmental authorities, state agencies, not-for-profit and for-profit health care providers. In addition, Randy was involved in various acquisitions and mergers related to the health care industry. Upon leaving investment banking, Randy was VP of Sales with a site construction company gaining both residential and commercial construction and development experience. Randy is a Principal in Highland Real Estate.

Terrance J. McCann
Senior Vice President / CFO

Terry is responsible for all financing and accounting activities at HRE. With over 28 years experience in various accounting and financial positions, he has acquired knowledge in areas such as system development conversions, banking and debt financing, business planning and budgeting, income tax planning and compliance, business insurance, and business controls. After his graduation from The Ohio State University, Terry joined Peat, Marwick, & Mitchell, a national public accounting firm, where he served as senior manager, performing auditing and tax services for a variety of clients. He then served as CFO for a 40-store women's apparel chain, and Vice President, regional controller for a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor. Prior to joining HRE, he served as a consultant with a local financial planning firm, where he had considerable involvement with the firm's real estate practice. Terry is a Principal in Highland Real Estate.

Steven P. Reed
Vice President Sales & Marketing

Steve is responsible for leading HRE's sales, leasing, and marketing efforts as well as playing a key role in the development of HRE's long term business strategy. Steve has over 20 years of marketing and selling experience having held leadership positions for companies such as IBM, ConAgra Foods, and Eli Lilly. He has successfully led the development and commercialization of brands in a variety of industries and categories. In addition, Steve has proven operational experience having owned a restaurant in the Florida Keys. Steve is a licensed real estate sales agent and a Principal in Highland Real Estate.

Dann P. Goodson
Vice President Construction Services

Dann is primarily responsible for overall construction management of all commercial, multi-family, and land projects. He is charged with ensuring that the goals and objectives of the projects are met through his team of seasoned construction professionals. Prior to joining Highland, Dann was Director of Construction Operations at Equity Concepts Development in Worthington, Ohio, where he was responsible for a wide variety of commercial projects.
